2Baba’s wife intro clip trends again

Natasha Osawaru’s Edo Assembly Introduction Sparks Online Reactions

A brief moment at the Edo State House of Assembly has stirred conversations online after lawmaker Natasha Osawaru introduced herself without using the surname of Nigerian music star 2Baba, Innocent Idibia.

In a video shared on her Instagram page, Osawaru identified herself as “Honourable Natasha Irobosa Osawaru” while addressing the Speaker and other lawmakers during plenary.

She also described herself as the representative of Egor Constituency and the minority leader of the House.

Her introduction attracted attention because she had previously included Idibia in her introduction during an April 2025 plenary session, when she referred to herself as “Honourable Natasha Irobosa Osawaru, née Idibia.”

The difference between the two introductions quickly became a talking point across social media, with users sharing the latest clip and making jokes about the change in wording.

Some online discussions focused on why she chose to use Osawaru alone, while others compared the new introduction with her earlier appearance before the Assembly.

The renewed attention also brought fresh curiosity about her relationship with the singer, especially following recent public discussions surrounding the couple.

Small moments involving public figures often become major online conversations because social media users quickly notice changes in names, appearances, statements and public behaviour.

When celebrities and politicians attract public attention, even a short introduction can generate headlines, jokes and different interpretations.

For now, Osawaru’s introduction remains what was publicly captured in the Assembly. Her choice of surname alone does not confirm any change in her relationship with 2Baba.
