Naira Marley and Sam Larry stage moment gets people talking

Naira Marley brought music promoter Sam Larry onto the stage during his performance at the 10th edition of the Supremacy Concert, held at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos on October 3, 2026. The moment quickly attracted attention online after Sam Larry joined the singer and showed off his energetic dance moves.

During the performance, Naira Marley beckoned to Sam Larry, who was present at the concert, to join him on stage. Sam Larry danced his way onto the stage and immediately began displaying his legwork dance moves. A few other people on stage also joined him as he danced and acknowledged the crowd.

The appearance soon became one of the moments that attracted attention from people following the concert online. While Sam Larry attempted to greet and acknowledge the audience, the crowd's reaction appeared relatively muted compared with the energy he displayed on stage.

Clips of the moment were subsequently shared on social media, where users gave different reactions to Sam Larry's appearance and dance moves. Some commenters focused on his dancing, while others used the opportunity to discuss the controversy that has surrounded Sam Larry and Naira Marley since the death of Nigerian singer Mohbad in September 2023.

The controversy has continued to generate public discussion, with both Sam Larry and Naira Marley having faced scrutiny and allegations connected to the circumstances surrounding Mohbad's death. Such allegations, however, should not be presented as established facts without supporting evidence or an official finding.

The online reaction to the concert appearance was therefore mixed. One commenter wrote, “lol, who be this ones? Nobody send una again,” while another said, “we are still not interested.” Other social media users commented on Sam Larry's dance style and his interaction with the audience.
