MOLIY tops Ghana YouTube with huge 2026 lead
MOLIY Leads Ghana’s YouTube Music Project Rankings With Huge Streaming Gap
Ghanaian singer MOLIY is leading YouTube Music’s 2026 rankings of the most-streamed Ghanaian music projects, with her mixtape BADDIES recording 632.5 million streams. The release sits far ahead of other projects on the list, giving her a commanding position in the chart.
According to Pulse Ghana, Black Sherif’s Sun Sherif Vol. 1 ranks second with 85.2 million streams, while KiDi’s Where Do We Go From Here takes third place with 8.97 million. The comparison shows how wide the gap has become between the leading project and its closest competitors.
MOLIY’s BADDIES has attracted more than seven times the streams recorded by Black Sherif’s project. The difference is even greater when compared with KiDi’s album, which has yet to reach 9 million streams. The figures make MOLIY’s lead the biggest talking point in the ranking.
The remaining projects in the top 10 include O’Kenneth’s CAME OF AGE with 8.7 million streams and King Promise and Mr Eazi’s See What We’ve Done with 8.2 million. Kweku Smoke’s No Days Off follows with 6.5 million, while Kuami Eugene’s Sweet Boy records 4.5 million. Samini’s Origin8A, Stonebwoy’s The Torcher, Oseikrom Sikanii’s 9 and Reggie’s Guy Guy Mmienu complete the list.
The ranking highlights how streaming platforms have become important in measuring music popularity. YouTube Music figures give fans a quick way to see which projects are attracting listeners, while helping artists track the reach of their releases. The numbers can also introduce audiences to albums and mixtapes they may have missed.
Streaming charts matter because listening habits increasingly shape conversations around music. Fans can compare artists, celebrate milestones and follow changes in audience interest. For musicians, strong figures can bring greater visibility and help their work reach listeners beyond their home markets.
For now, MOLIY holds a remarkable advantage over the competition, while close figures among other projects keep the ranking interesting this year.
