Applications for the February 2027 intake opened on October 19, 2026, and will close on November 12, 2026. Interested candidates are encouraged to prepare their documents and complete their applications before the deadline.

About the UNPAD Global Scholarship:
The UNPAD Global Scholarship (UGS) is an initiative by Universitas Padjadjaran designed to attract academically outstanding students from different parts of the world.

The programme supports international graduates who want to advance their education, develop their research abilities and contribute positively to society after completing their studies.

For the 2027 academic year, the scholarship is available through a Master's Degree Track. Successful applicants can study selected Master's programmes offered across the university's faculties.

The available programmes include eligible English-taught international programmes and regular Master's programmes conducted in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

The scholarship emphasises academic excellence, research potential, international learning and contributions to sustainable development.

Scholarship Benefits:
The UNPAD Global Scholarship provides several financial and academic benefits to successful applicants.

These include:
- Tuition fee waiver: Successful candidates receive a tuition fee waiver for the duration of their Master's programme, covering up to three semesters.
- Monthly living allowance: Recipients receive IDR 4,000,000 monthly to support their living expenses, including accommodation, for the period specified in their scholarship contract.
- Health insurance: Scholarship recipients receive health insurance coverage during their study period, estimated at approximately IDR 6 million per year.
- Visa and residence permit: The scholarship covers student visa application and stay permit processing costs during the study period.

- Research and thesis support: Recipients may receive a one-time research or thesis-writing support fund of IDR 10 million after successfully completing their thesis proposal stage.

However, applicants should note that the scholarship does not cover domestic or international flight tickets. Successful candidates will be responsible for their travel expenses to and from Indonesia.

All benefits are subject to the scholarship's conditions and the terms stated in the award contract.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?
The scholarship is open to international applicants who meet the university's academic and other requirements.

To qualify, applicants must:
- Be citizens of countries other than Indonesia.

An Opportunity for Nigerian and African Graduates: The UNPAD Global Scholarship presents an opportunity for qualified Nigerian and other African graduates who want to pursue postgraduate education outside their home countries.

The combination of tuition support, a monthly living allowance, health insurance and visa assistance can help reduce some of the financial challenges associated with studying abroad.

However, prospective applicants should carefully consider expenses that are not covered, particularly international travel costs. They should also confirm the language of instruction and admission requirements of their preferred Master's programme before applying.

It is also important to note that the university has different admission periods for some programmes. For example, its three fully English-taught international Master's programmes are available for the August 2027 intake, while the February intake includes eligible regular Master's programmes.

With the November 12, 2026 deadline approaching, eligible graduates are encouraged to visit the university's official website, read the scholarship guidelines and submit complete applications on time.
