##KiDi, King Promise and Medikal Give Accra a Night to Remember at Hitz-Joy Beach Rave
Music, dancing and the sound of excited fans filled Rehab Beach Club in Labadi, Accra, as some of Ghana's biggest music stars came together for the 2026 Hitz-Joy Beach Rave.
The event, held on Saturday, October 31, brought together music lovers for an afternoon and evening of live performances, DJ sets and beachside entertainment. KiDi, King Promise and Medikal were among the headline performers, giving fans an opportunity to enjoy their favourite songs in a relaxed outdoor setting.
Organised by Hitz 103.9 FM and Joy 99.7 FM, both part of the Multimedia Group, the event featured 19 performers from Ghana's entertainment industry.
##Three stars, different musical styles
King Promise was among the performers who kept the audience entertained with popular songs including Terminator, CCTV and Paris. His combination of Afrobeats, highlife and R&B brought a familiar sound that many fans could easily sing along to.
KiDi also delivered an entertaining performance, taking the audience through favourites such as Touch It, Odo and Enjoyment. He also performed songs from his 2026 album, Where Do We Go From Here.
Medikal added a different flavour to the headline performances with his contribution to the event. His presence brought more variety to a programme that combined different styles of Ghanaian music.
Other performers included dancehall and reggae musician Ras Kuuku, rising singer Morgan Nero and music duo Lali X Lola.
DJs kept the beach party alive
The entertainment did not depend on the headline musicians alone.
Several DJs, including Merqury Quaye, Andy Dosty, DJ Raennie, DJ Fantastic, DJ Dhon K, DJ Shaker HD, DJ Ikon and DJ Wobeti, kept the music playing between performances.
Games and other beachside activities also gave patrons more reasons to enjoy the gathering.
Rather than feeling like a traditional indoor concert, the event offered a more relaxed experience where people could enjoy music, spend time with friends and take in the coastal atmosphere.
##Why Ghana's live music scene continues to attract fans
Events such as the Hitz-Joy Beach Rave show why live entertainment remains important to Ghana's music industry.
Streaming platforms allow fans to listen to their favourite artists anywhere, but live performances offer something different. People get to experience the music together, sing along with thousands of other fans and see their favourite performers on stage.
These gatherings also create opportunities for DJs, upcoming musicians, event organisers, vendors and other businesses involved in the entertainment industry.
For radio stations, organising live events is another way to connect with listeners beyond their regular broadcasts.
The 2026 Hitz-Joy Beach Rave delivered exactly that combination of music, social entertainment and beach culture, giving Accra music lovers another memorable weekend.
