## Fantana surprises Shatta Wale with 2026 Land Cruiser for his birthday

Shatta Wale received a birthday surprise that was difficult to miss, a brand-new 2026 Toyota Land Cruiser Twin Turbo from fellow Ghanaian musician Fantana.

The black luxury SUV was delivered to the dancehall star’s residence in Trasacco, Accra, on Friday, October 16, a day before Shatta Wale celebrated his 42nd birthday.

Videos of the big reveal quickly began making the rounds on Ghanaian social media, adding another talking point to an already busy birthday weekend for the musician.

According to Pulse Ghana, footage from the presentation showed Shatta Wale warmly embracing Fantana after receiving the vehicle.

The Fantana Shatta Wale gift also arrived just before ShattaFest, Shatta Wale’s birthday concert at the Accra Sports Stadium on October 17.

Why Fantana bought Shatta Wale the car

For Fantana, the expensive present was more than a flashy celebrity birthday gesture.

The singer, whose real name is Francine Koffie, explained in social media posts that Shatta Wale had been there for her and supported her career over the years.

She described him as her brother and family and said she wanted to give him something special for his birthday.

Fantana also revealed why she settled on a Land Cruiser.

Shatta Wale already owns several luxury vehicles, so she wanted to find a car that would still feel different from what was already in his collection.

That decision eventually led to the 2026 Toyota Land Cruiser Twin Turbo arriving at his home.

AdomOnline also identifies Fantana and Shatta Wale as cousins and notes that their relationship extends beyond music. Shatta Wale has previously shown public support for Fantana’s mother, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, including during her political campaign in the Jomoro Constituency.

Fans react to Shatta Wale’s birthday surprise

Unsurprisingly, the size of the birthday gift helped the video travel quickly online.

Clips of the vehicle arriving and the two musicians embracing were reposted by Ghanaian entertainment accounts, with the surprise becoming a major talking point ahead of Shatta Wale’s birthday celebrations.

Much of the conversation centred on the value and size of the gift, while other reactions highlighted the close relationship between Fantana and Shatta Wale.

Shatta Wale appeared delighted with the surprise and reportedly promised to return the gesture with a significant present when Fantana celebrates her own birthday next July.

The moment even produced another playful birthday storyline, with Shatta Wale calling on Nigerian superstar Davido to also send him a birthday gift.

Why celebrity gift stories spread so quickly

There is a reason stories like this become instant Ghana celebrity news.

They combine familiar celebrities, friendship, money and an eye-catching luxury item in a video that takes only seconds to understand.

Fans do not need to know the background of a new album or follow a long-running celebrity controversy. Seeing a Land Cruiser arrive on a truck as a birthday present immediately creates a shareable moment.

Social media makes those moments even bigger.

One short clip can move from Instagram to X, TikTok and entertainment blogs within hours, while fans debate everything from the price of the gift to the relationship between the people involved.

In this case, the timing also helped.

The Shatta Wale birthday celebrations were already attracting attention because of ShattaFest at the Accra Sports Stadium. Fantana arriving with a luxury SUV just before the big day gave fans another reason to talk.

For Shatta Wale, it was a memorable way to begin his birthday celebrations.

For Fantana, it was a very public way of thanking someone she says has supported her journey.

And for Ghanaian social media, a brand-new Land Cruiser, two famous musicians and a birthday celebration provided exactly the kind of celebrity moment built to go viral.
