Dave Lagos shows are here now
Lagos is ready. British-Nigerian rap superstar Dave, aka Santan Dave, touches down for his first-ever headline shows in Nigeria this weekend — Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 8PM WAT at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts (National Theatre) in Surulere.
Why This Lagos Stop Matters
This is more than a tour date, na homecoming be this.
Dave was born David Orobosa Omoregie in South London to Nigerian parents. Pulse Nigeria and other outlets noted the personal weight of finally headlining where his family is from.
For Lagos, it is symbolic too. The shows mark the renewed spotlight on the Wole Soyinka Centre after its reopening, now becoming a magnet for major live events. It also caps a story Lagos fans wrote themselves — one fan did 100+ days of “Day X of asking Santan Dave to come to Nigeria” on X, until Dave replied “My brother. Your watch has ended” and announced Lagos as the tour closer. Live Nation’s involvement also signals Lagos’ growing pull as a global tour destination
What Fans Expect From The Setlist
If you followed the tour from Munich, London O2, and Australia, Dave has kept a tight 20-24 song structure.
