In Nigeria, the song has also maintained a strong position. TurnTable Charts reported that “Heaven Baby” climbed to No. 2 on the Official Nigeria Top 100 in its second week, recording 2.39 million on-demand streams and 71.3 million in radio reach.

Part of the song’s appeal appears to come from the combination of Ayra Starr and ZAYN. The collaboration brings together the Nigerian singer’s Afropop audience and ZAYN’s international following, giving the song a wider audience than a typical album release.
